As we (hopefully) exit from the ravages of COVID, the need for food is still so great right here in our very own community!

The Anne Arundel County Food Bank is struggling to keep up with the demand and is also struggling with the increasing costs of food.

Some facts to consider:

Last year, they provided food to 62,500 families per month.
Last year, they provided 5.8 million pounds of food to our neighbors.
Last year, they purchased 74% of their food, compared to 1% the year before

The need is real!

We are proud to be a very small part in what I hope turns out to be a very big fundraiser at Homestead Gardens on the 19th.

Your sixty dollar ticket will include entertainment, food from nearly a dozen local restaurants, and plenty of fine beers and cocktails which are all donated. Which means your $60 will go directly to help the Food Bank.

I hope you can spare a few hours on Thursday the 19th to help feed our neighbors in need and raise a glass, and offer a toast to ending hunger.
