ASO PRESENTS SEASON FINALE SAINT-SAËNS ORGAN SYMPHONY May 5th, 6th, & 7th |
Hi -- The ASO is ending the 2022-2023 season big! Join Maestro Jose-Luis Novo and the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra for Masterworks VI, including the world premiere of Michael - Thomas Foumai's "Living Pono" with guest artist Charles Overton on
the harp. "Living Pono" expresses the importance of living in balance with the environment with great passion and emotion. Violinist James Ehnes will accompany the full orchestra for Korngold's Concerto for Violin in D major, op. 35. Korngold was famous for being the first important European composer to write for Hollywood film scores. You may just recognize some of
the music in this piece! Baltimore organist Daniel Aoune will join ASO musicians to bring Saint-Saëns Symphony No. 3 in C minor, "Organ" to life as the season ends in epic fashion!
