Local businesses are all about community.

That's why K&B True Value Hardware started Cash For Schools many moons ago in 2009. The concept was simple--a customer makes a small donation on checkout, and the store matches it and gives it to the selected school to help with all the expenses that are NOT covered.

Fast forward to 2023 and the program has grown along with the donations the community has given. More than $100,000 has been donated to date. And I am thrilled to join K&B True Value Hardware, Bay Ridge Wine & Spirits, Evolve Direct Primary Care, and Ledo Pizza in helping to raise the funds. This year, as locally owned businesses, we decided to double the match--so if you contribute $5, your school of choice will get $15.

The program only runs through October 31st, so if you need anything at K&B True Value Hardware, get your shopping done before and make a contribution when you check out.  If your honey-do list is all complete, you can still make a contribution online.
