Philharmonic Orchestra opens its 2025–26 season on Sunday, September 21 at Maryland Hall with Music of the Americas: A Celebration of Life & Culture.
✨ In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Music Director Anna Binneweg will lead the orchestra through a vibrant program featuring Amy Beach, Aaron Copland, Samuel Barber, Márquez’s Danzón No. 2, Velasquez’s Tico Tico, Villoldo’s El choclo y la cumparsita, and Robert Xavier Rodriguez’s Sinfonia a la Mariachi.
🎺 Special guests Cañas y Su Mariachi de Oro will join the performance, bringing authentic mariachi sounds to the stage.
This festive concert is the perfect way to launch a season full of culture, community, and unforgettable music.
