3rd Annual Naptown barBAYq

May 4th and 5th is your weekend to literally pig out at the Naptown barBAYq.  This event keeps getting bigger and bigger each year as the Parole Rotary raises money for local charities.

Vendors, drinks, and OMG the barbecue..BBQ...barbi....oh you know what I mean! And don't forget the music. There is something like 44 bands on 2 stages over the weekend.  I may just pitch a tent and call in a liposuction specialist on Monday!

This is at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds. More details are here!

Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival

May 18th and 19th will host the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Eric Burdon and the Animals, Deanna Bogart, Trombone Shorty, Justin Bieber and Beyonce! (Well, not those last two, just seeing if you were paying attention.)

The backdrop is the gorgeous Chesapeake Bay Bridge and this festival puts 100% of their profits to charity and supports our local community!

Get a on day pass or a two day pass. Or splurge for the VIP package--it's worth every penny!

Kent Island Rock N Run
Kent Island Rock N Run

It's a 5 mile race. It's a kid's fun run. It's June 1st in the afternoon. It benefits Special Olympics of Maryland--oh and did I mention that it is all on the water on Kenti Island and wraps up with a music festival?

Find out the details and register to run or to support and enjoy the festival (like me)---all the details are here!
Green Beer Races

Green beer, bagpipes, races, kid's races, more green beer, keg tossing, kid's contests, dog contests, and more music than you can shake a sheleighleigh at!  Saturday, March 16th from noon-?? at the Eastport Democratic Club!  Republicans are welcome...I spotted Herb McMillan there last year and the building is still standing.
