About The Annapolis Irish Festival

This Saturday, July 13 -- 11am to 10pm

Since the Inaugural Festival in 2011, the AIF has become an Annapolis tradition, thanks to the support of the business community and the people who share their passion for the Emerald Isle and the magical Celtic traditions and music which is held so dear. Last year, 27 businesses sponsored this Festival, over 22,000 people were in attendance, and $30,000 was donated to local non-profits in our community. It also became a 2-day event with the help of the Maryland Renaissance Festival who presented the first Twilight Concert the night prior.

The festival is back again and still growing. This year's lineup will make your heart beat faster and your hair turn green. Leading the march is Gaelic Storm, one of the world music scene's preeminent Celtic bands. Joining them are: Albannach, bringing the "Fire and Thunder of Scotland" to Annapolis and Scythian, Celtic rock with an edge, Annapolis based Dublin 5, the beautiful and talented Gothard Sisters, those hot lassies the Screaming Orphans, Kilmaine Saints, The Rogues, Danny Burns, Crossing Celtic, Seamus Kennedy, Brendan's Voyage, The ShamRogues, the Chesapeake Caledonian Pipes and Drums and the Culkin, Hunt, Teelin and Broesler Schools of Irish Dance.

The 2013 Annapolis Irish Festival will host over 90 vendors, a bigger Little Leprechaun Land and will benefit the Hospice of the Chesapeake, the Wellness House of Annapolis, St. Jude Hospital for Children and the Chesapeake Bay Trust.

Friday Night Free Concert

Friday night, July 12th from 4pm to 10pm the Annapolis Irish Festival will present a free concert featuring some of the headlining acts on Saturday. The concert is sponsored by the Maryland Renaissance Festival. Free admission is from 4pm to 5pm. After 4pm the admission is $10. Children under 12 are free!

Friday night will be a tribute and salute to those who are serving in the armed forces and those who have served. Active and retired military will be admitted free all night.

Tickets are only available at the gate. Most vendors will be open, so bring the family, have dinner and catch a great Friday night concert!

For The Kids

Little Leprechaun Land has been expanded for 2013 and will be presented by Busch Gardens of Williamsburg, Va. Remember kids 12 and under are free!

DISCOUNTED TICKETS

Tickets are $20 for the main festival on Saturday. The Friday night tickets will ONLY be available at the gate.
