Midnight Madness Starts Tonight!
Eye On Annapolis
MIDNIGHT MADNESS!

Annapolitans and visitors won't want to miss this year's two nights of Midnight Madness in downtown Annapolis starting tonight--Thursday, December 5th and December 12th.  The town will be full of holiday music and cheer with opportunities to win gifts and prizes, take holiday photos and shop special sale prices at retail shops, which will each remain open until midnight for holiday shopping and festivities.

Come on out and shop, sing, laugh, stroll, and reconnect with old and new friends while shopping and dining in your favorite shops. Most will have special sales, offers and even better---free cookies, hot chocolate, wine, toddies, massages, and more!

Remember, it is so important to shop local and support our local businesses and our neighbors!

ENTERTAINMENT - December 5th

  • Pocket Park - Children's Theater of Annapolis (6p) and LifeSongs Choir (730p)
  • Cousin Eddie will be playing by the City tree starting at 7pm
  • Santa and a few elves will be strolling around town--hand deliver your list!
  • Sons of the Severn and Pride of Baltimore will be strolling throughout downtown
  • The Salvation Army Band will be next to their bell ringer at Main Street and Market Space
  • Radio stations WRNR and WNAV will be broadcasting live Main Street from 6p to midnight.
FREE GIFT WRAP AND MICHAEL BOLTON

No ladies, you cannot wrap up Michael Bolton--but it is the next best thing!

The Tuesday Night Annapolis Rotary will be offering free gift wrapping at 40 West Street from 6pm to midnight. Donations are accepted and encouraged.  And thanks to Rams Head On Stage, WNAV, the Annapolis Business Association and Eye On Annapolis, someone will win a pair of tickets to see Michael Bolton at Maryland Hall on December 17th!

More to come...
...and that's not all.  Next Thursday, downtown will do it all again with different entertainment, different specials, and more surprises.

...and for those of you who live for procrastination, Eleventh Hour (where all the downtown shops will remain open until 11pm) will be happening on Thursday, December 19th!

Come on down and join your neighbors and shop local!

EOA
Thank You!

On a personal note, shopping local is so important. All business is local and most of the shops in Annapolis are not big brands. They are your friends, your neighbors, the guy sitting next to you in church, the woman behind you in the grocery line.  Our merchants are a large part of what makes Annapolis so special, let's all do our part to make sure they succeed!

I'll see you at Midnight Madness!

All the best--
