OUR MESSAGE

In addition to our newsletter, we send out periodic emails highlighting some special event--here is one of them.

Annapolis has such a robust Arts scene and one of the lesser known (despite being around for 40 years) is the Annapolis Opera.

We encourage you to come out and get introduced to the Opera at their performance of The Magic Flute.

We suspect you will not be disappointed!

Until the next time.....

All the best--

Opera

One of the great things about Annapolis is the incredible variety of live and performing arts for people of all ages and musical tastes. This weekend, Annapolis Opera is putting on a very unique event aimed at kids in grades three and up.

On Saturday morning at 10:30 am, check out their performance of Mozart's The Magic Flute. This is a special production adapted specifically for kids and an amazing opportunity to expose your children to an art form that many of us go our whole lives without seeing. The best part? Tickets are just $15!

The folks at Annapolis Opera have partnered with Towson University's Opera in a Can troupe to create this performance, which features really cool costumes and some pretty great special effects that will wow your kids. The story is actually set in outer space, making this a more modern day version of Mozart's original story.

If you've never been to the opera, this is a great (and very unintimidating) way to try it out AND to expose your children to a very old and beautiful performing art.

Purchase tickets, or get more information, online or at the Maryland Hall Box office.
