Annapolis Beer Week Is Coming!

OUR MESSAGE

The Annapolis area is never without something fun to do! Take beer week!

Before the spring and summer fun kicks into high gear, you get a chance to sample your favorite brews and maybe discover some new ones in the process.

Included in the 2nd Annual Annapolis Beer Week is a beer run (my kind of run), a mini music festival, sessions with the brewmasters, a mix and mingle single night, special dinner, beer and technology, a comedy festival and the qunitessential dish to accompany beer--wings! The weeks starts with a run, and ends with the 1st Maryland Chicken Wing & Beer Festival.

But beer, food, and music aside...each individual event benefits one of the many local charities we have in the area. So not only are we drinking responsibly, we are drinking for social good!

Now THAT'S a winning combination!

Some of the events are free, some are ticketed. All of the info is on their website, and we have listed direct links to the individual events for your convenience.

I am not sure how many nights I will be out, but I look forward to seeing you around!

The 2nd Annual Annapolis Beer Week is back and it is loaded with lots of beer centric good times spanning March 29th through April 5th! But what is different is that each event helps support a local non-profit or charity (indicated in parenthesis). So, check out some tasty new beers and support the charity that is near and dear to your heart!

2nd Annual Beer Run at the County Fairgrounds kicks it off at 10am on Saturday, March 29th. (MS Busters)

Hospitality Night at West End Grill is on Sunday, March 30th. (YMCA of Metropolitan Washington)

Beer & Bands at Stan & Joe's Saloon on West Street from noon to 8pm on Sunday, March 30th. (YMCA of Metropolitan Washington)

Meet the Brewmaster. Two events will be held at the Rams Head Tavern and the Annapolis Smokehouse & Tavern on Monday, March 31st. (Chesapeake Bay Foundation)

Beer & Singles Night at Fado Irish Pub on April 1st! (Walk the Walk Foundation)

Beer and Dinner Night will be held at Mother's Peninsula Grill and also at the Annapolis Maritime Museum on April 2nd.

Beer & Tech Night will be April 3rd at the Federal House Bar & Grille. (Chesapeake Bay Trust)

3rd Annual Draughts and Laughs will be held at the National Guard Armory on April 4th. Come out and see your favorite comics and sip some nice cold beer. (The Foundation for Community Betterment)

Maryland Chicken Wing & Beer Festival will be held on April 5th at the National Guard Armory and will feature your favorite wings in a competition to the end--and of course some cool brews! (Camp Letts)
