OUR MESSAGE

If you had asked me two years ago if I wanted to go to the Opera, I probably would still be laughing.  But no one did. Until last year! I snickered a little (guilty) and then went to see the Annapolis Opera production of La Boheme. That was the opera I was forced to watch in 1977.  My how times have changed. I was blown away!

The level of talent that comes to our backyard is amazing. No need to go to DC, Baltimore or New York. We have world-class entertainment right here at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts. And this weekend, the Annapolis Opera is presenting Cosi fan tutte by Mozart!

Now Mozart is a comic genius with a bottle of absinthe. Put the talent of a professional opera company and the comedy of Mozart and you can tell why this may have been banned for centuries!

Good seats are still available in the beautifully renovated auditorium of Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts.

I hope I will see you there!

Enjoy the show!

Two guys...two women...one bet! If you got engaged, could you trust that your fiancee would be faithful to you forever?

Find out what happens when two men put this question to the test with the women they love.

Join Annapolis Opera at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts this Friday and Sunday for Così fan tutte, Mozart's risque comedic opera that tests the ties of love!

Experience Annapolis Opera’s fully-staged production of Mozart’s comedic masterpiece, Così fan tutte. Though a great success in its day, Così was censored or banned for several centuries for its themes of adultery and romantic deception before rising to renewed acclaim in recent years.

Now appreciated for its timeless themes and beautiful music, Così fan tutte was the most well-attended production in the Metropolitan Opera’s season last year.

And now it is here in Annapolis for two performances!
