The Nerds
Friday, April 3rd
This is a must-see show at Union Jacks and advanced tickets are strongly suggested!

They wear plaid—maybe a little too much of it—and their square glasses are almost always taped at the bridge. Maybe they don't have their pocket protectors when they perform, but cover band The Nerds do have the uncanny ability to be one of the biggest and most popular cover bands in New Jersey.

The Nerds cover classic rock and roll hits, and will throw in some nerdy tunes like TV show theme songs. They travel up and down New Jersey performing, including along the Jersey Shore.

Made up of Jim "Spaz" Garcia (lead vocals and bass), Peter "Stretch" Oltmanns (guitar and vocals), Mike "Mongo" Spiro (keyboards and vodals) and Jack "Biff" Yocum (drums), The Nerds have been going strong for more than 25 years, and a look at their tour schedule shows they don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

The Reagan Years
Saturday, April 11th
This band of seasoned musicians recreates the sounds of the 1980s; a day when Ronald Reagan was President, M-TV first aired, CDs emerged, Acid Washed jeans were "Cool" and alternative music was called "New Wave". This period has resurfaced in today's entertainment industry. VH-1 has multiple segments echoing from the 80's Video Generation, radio stations across the U.S. feature artists from the 1980s in daily "flashback" programs while 1980s anthems have permeated TV commercials.

Sly 45
Friday, April 17th
Formed in Baltimore, Maryland from a couple local guys who wanted to add the sound they loved to an already booming local jazz, blues, and pop scene, the gentlemen (and we use the term loosely) of Sly 45 set out to not only give new life to those forgotten hits, but also to breathe a little of that old-time energy into modern pop and classic tunes. If its stuck in your head, ringing in your ears, or that song you cant quite remember the words to but always sing along anyway, odds are Sly 45 are playing it tonight.
