Annual Annapolis Beer Week kicked off this past weekend and will not stop till the 25th!
Come on out, sample some of your favorite (and soon to be favorite) beers and support local causes all at the same time!
The SPCA of Anne Arundel County, MS Busters, Box of Rain, Bike Like A Girl, Foundation for Community Betterment, Changing Focus, YWCA Camp Letts, Warfighter Sports, and many more are all reaping the
rewards!
So, check out some tasty new beers and support the charity that is near and dear to your heart!
Some of the events will require tickets but most are free (you pay for your beer)--the best bet is to check out the ABW website for the specifics. My suggestion is to buy your tickets early because all of them are limited in quantity!
And for making your game plan...here is the agenda for the rest of the week!
While all of the events are fantastic...my personal choices would be....
- Beer pairing dinner at Blackwall Hitch (bummed I cannot make it due to a prior commitment)
- Friday's Pints For Paws put on by the Annapolis Home Brewing guys. Naptown Pint will be there and--well,
let's just say I am sure there will be stories that will come from that event that will endure way longer than the event itself!
- Wing and Beer Festival SOLD OUT!. I love wings and this is a fantastic opportunity to sample some of your favorites. Most entrants will create a special flavor just for this event. And I also hear that the originator of the "Buffalo Wing" will be on hand with the real-deal!
- Laughs & Draughts. This is always a great way
to end the week on a high note. This year, will be extra special with Humor, Heroes, and Hops featuring some incredibly funny wounded warrior comedians! They say laughter is a great cure, and these guys will epitomize it!
