FRINGE
FESTIVAL
THIS SATURDAY
OUR MESSAGE

OK, so you may not be familiar with the most eclectic, fun, bizarre, strange, unique, and odd festival in Annapolis--but you should be!

Art, like people, comes in all shapes and sizes. And the Fringe Festival is here to bring them all to you. There will be acts that will leave you scratching your head. There will be acts that you might hate. There definitely will be acts that you just fall in love with immediately.

It all goes down on West Street on Saturday night.

This is one of those must-not-miss events in Annapolis. The town will be alive. Will you be part of it?

Pricing is affordable. A $5 wrist band will get you a taste of it all along with some sweet discounts and in line to buy tickets to ticketed shows. A $25 all-access pass gets you into the shows--no more ala carte! And if you want to go VIP for $90 (for two) you get reserved seating, an invite to an after party and some more swag!

See you on West Street!

All the best-

WHAT'S A FRINGE FEST?
WHAT

Over-the-top art & entertainment, committed to an open forum of expression.

WHEN

Entertainment begins at 7pm and goes through midnight, on Saturday, September 26, 2015. Come early -get a room!

WHO

Our 2015  shows are stacking up and still coming in - artists range from first-timers to nationally known names.

WHERE

on the first block of historic West Street just off Church Circle in downtown Annapolis

The opening ceremonies include a Hi-Heel Race The race begins at 7, but the real fun takes place before this main event, as brave and/or seasoned contestants parade up and down the race course showing off their outfits! To get a street-side seat at an on-course cafe like Stan & Joes, 49 West Cafe, El Toro Bravo or Tsunami, stake out your spot by 6, and certainly no later than 6:45. (There’s plenty of space along the sidewalk, though crowds may block the view.)

The Fringe Festival opening ceremonies kick off a night of over the top entertainment that will continue long after the last 2-inch hi-heel crosses the finish line.

  • The much loved West Street Mexican restaurant El Toro Bravo is celebrating Fringe Festival Saturday night September 26 with a piñata of Donald Trump – it’ll hang just outside their café on West Street how appropriate, and so very fringe indeed!

  • Tweety and Company perform an awesome Drag Queen Show – this was a huge hit last year, and they’re back only this time they will perform on stage under one of the main tents.
