36 degrees--sounds like a perfect day for a dip in the Chesapeake Bay! NOT! #PlungeMD

But...it is for a good cause! Special Olympics and the Polar Bear Plunge!

With only a few days left, we need all the help we can get to support these athletes. We need plungers, partiers, and donors!

Every little bit helps..be it $1 or $100.

If you can, please support this incredible event!

Live bands, street artists, and a lot of fun await you!

But above all, Saturday is a day full of fun, excitement, and entertainment for one of the most worthy causes in the State.

The money and awareness raised contributes to the programs that allow our fellow citizens who have physical and mental challenges the opportunity to excel.

If you have never seen the smile of a Special Olympian as they cross the finish line...you are missing something.

I am personally proud to support Special Olympics of Maryland and the Polar Bear Plunge by donating and plunging...and I hope you will too!

Go And Have Fun

The plunge is more than a fundraiser and a chance to dive into the Chesapeake Bay. It is a FREE day full of fun and activities for the whole family!

A family tent with crafts, displays, a giant sand sculpture, play zone, food, and more.

An Ice Lodge by Rams Head with live entertainment, adult refreshments, vendors, and strolling entertainment.

The entire grounds will have something for everyone--raving Ravens fans, stilt walkers, clowns, food, song, dance, and much much more!

If you are not plunging, why not bundle up and head over to Sandy Point State Park on the 25th for an afternoon you will remember for a long time!
