The Shillelagh Shuffle - March 5th - Noon

This is NOT your average bar crawl!! Join us as we "shuffle" through the streets of Downtown Annapolis again this year ricocheting between our parade-sponsoring bars.
This fun event will kick off Saturday, March 5th -12:00 at Armadillo's AKA Johnny O's Bar!!!!

Shamrock Stroll - March 5th - Noon
|
If the Shamrock Stroll is something you've never heard of, get ready to be in for the crawl of your life. Shamrock Stroll is a day time St Patrick's Day Pub celebration event that captivates Annapolis and other cities all over the country every first Saturday of March.
This year, we are looking to break into the record books with thousands of crawlers dressed in green ready to celebrate the coming of St Patrick's Day in style.
The weather will be warming up each and every day. We at ShamrockStroll.com, want to be on the scene as so many crawlers take in the great venues, weather, and scenery that Annapolis has to offer. St Paddy's is one of the best times to do so. Where else would you rather be than out with friends enjoying the beautiful sunshine and drink specials on Saturday March 5th?

The Hooley - March 5th - 6pm to 10pm
|
The 2nd annual Annapolis Irish Week Kick Off Hooley will be held the night before the parade on March 5th at the Loews Annapolis Hotel.
This Gala will feature Dublin 5, Pipe Bands and Irish Dancers as well as great food and Open Bar for the first hour compliments of Steve Kelly and Kelly Electric!
What's a Hooley? It's Irish for party and there is none better than this one to kick off
the Irish "Season" in Annapolis!

4th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade - March 6th - 1pm
|
The Annapolis St. Patrick’s Parade is in its fourth year. In four years it has grown to be the largest parade in the city of Annapolis in terms of entrants and spectators.
This year we will also have a Pocket Shop located in Pocket Park! Pocket Park is located to the right of Kilwin’s. Stop by and shop at one of our 7 vendors set up in this cute little spot during the
parade. The parade route is as follows: • Line up at Amos Garrett Blvd. • Make a right turn onto West Street • Travel clockwise (the wrong way) around Church Circle and out Main St. • Travel down Main Street towards Randall/Compromise Circle. • Travel clockwise (the wrong way) around Randall/Compromise Circle. • Exit traffic circle via Randall
Street.
Bring your lawn chair, pick out a great spot on the parade route and enjoy the luck of the Irish.
WRNR 103.1 will be live outside of Fado bringing you all the parade information you need!

St. Baldrick's / St. Practice Day at Fado - March 12th - 11am to 7pm
|
This annual head-shaving event where the community raises money and awareness to help fight children’s cancer.
Fun Fact: “craic” is an Irish term meaning good times,” so we like to say that this event is “great craic for a great cause”.

EDC Green Beer Races - March 12th - Noon
|
Come out to the Eastport Democratic Club and the 2016 Green Beer Races on Saturday, March 12th from Noon to 8pm (Rain, Snow or Shine) at the Eastport Democratic Club, 525 State Street in Annapolis.
The historic private club, established in 1929, will host one of Annapolis’ preeminent events. Live entertainment by Swampcandy, great food and, of course, Irish Drinks will help set the stage for the premiere event which will
feature a series of team relay races in which contestants carry Green Beer on trays while completing a course as fast as possible.
Additionally there will be a keg toss contest and Kool-Aid races for the younger crowd.
This is a free event.

St. Patrick's Day at Fado - March 17th - 6am
|
The first in Annapolis to open their doors on Paddy’s Day, Fadó will start the day with Pints and Pancakes at 6:00 a.m.!
The 1st 25 people in the door in the morning get a free pint and pancakes.
Join us for the festivities as WRNR 103.1 hosts its morning show and gives away a trip for two to Dublin, Ireland! The excitement continues all day and all night with live music and entertainment. A
full menu is available throughout the day. Free until 4pm and then a $10 cover. Tickets online now!

O'Brien's Steak House - March 17th
|
With a name like O'Brien's you know it has to be good! Come out and sample the award-winning Irish coffee. Guinness on tap, drink and food specials all day long!
The party gets underway at 11am and goes until late.
DJ Zuke will be playing your favorite tunes so you can dance the day and night away.
O'Brien's is a downtown Annapolis institution that is a destination for great
food, cold drinks excellent libations, and the best entertainment Annapolis has to offer.
...and St. Patrick's Day it is THE place to be!

Rams Head Tavern - March 17th
|
Join us on March 17th when we throw the biggest St. Patrick’s Day party – full of food, fun, and beer ALL DAY starting at 2 PM!
We’re bringing back annual favorites like $0.50 Guinness and $3 Green Beer, $5 Car Bombs, and new this year – $6 Irish Trash Cans!
Rams Head Tavern Annapolis will be throwing a tent party with full bar and live music. We’ll have heaters if the temperature is less than
ideal.
The decks will be open at Rams Head Tavern Savage Mill and Rams Head Roadhouse, weather permitting.
We’ll also be offering Irish food specials all day including corned beef and cabbage and more! As always, there’s never a cover, just a party at Rams Head! This is a free event.

Union Jack's - March 17th
|
Union Jack's has put together a blockbuster lineup this St. Patrick's Day. Both bands interaction with the crowds are unparalleld in this region.
It all starts with Annapolis' own Irish rockers, Dublin 5. They have taken the Celtic music scene by storm thanks to an eclectic mix of traditional roots and blazing instrumentals with an amped up rock twist.
Then Union Jack's closes with Lancaster, PA's own, Amish Outlaws.
Four out of the five members were raised as strict Amish and perform in their traditional garb. Their music ranges from Johnny Cash to Jay-Z, Lady Gaga to Snoop Dogg, The Foo Fighter and the Dropkick Murphys.
There will be plenty of food and drink as well with an INCLUDED Irish Breakfast! The fun starts at 9am and goes until who knows when.
