The seminars are always a lot of fun and informative and this time is no exception--meet Laura Dowling former Chief Floral Designer from the White House--yes that one! Laura’s talk will focus on innovative ideas for seasonal decorating and entertaining at home, including specific tips for creating fall craft and floral projects, including holiday decor. In addition, she’ll provide behind-the-scenes insights and anecdotes from her White House years and give the audience a preview of her forthcoming book “Floral Diplomacy at the White House,” which will be published in October. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to learn how to bring White House style home!

Learn to modify your home as you age in place. For many of us, the decision to age-in-place, or as we like to call it, live-in-place is a popular one. Staying in the homes we love as we age often necessitates modifications that combine function and style. Aging-in-place guru Russ Glickman will share creative ways to incorporate features into your remodel that are not only safe and comfortable, but pretty cool as well .

Conference Center

The Annapolis Home & Garden Expo has now been going strong for over a decade.

In 2015, they began a new era as they moved the event to the Byzantium Event and Conference Center at 2747 Riva Road.

This facility, which is the home of the GREEK FESTIVAL, features more parking, more room for an expanded event, and easier access for guests.

As always, they continue to provide educational workshops and seminars and feature top area companies to help homeowners with their household products and services all in one easy to get to location.

Over 70 companies will be on hand showcasing products and services including kitchen and bath displays, decking, fencing, counter tops, tile, home energy systems, landscaping, interior design, window treatments, roofing, waterproofing, heating and air and more!

Come on out!

A portion of all ticket sales (tickets are $5) will go to The Providence Center! In addition, there will be beautiful fall mums for sale at the expo--all to benefit The Providence Center! Stock up and make your home look awesome this fall!
