It's back. For the 8th year, the Annapolis Irish Festival 2018 is bound to one for record books.

It all gets underway at 4pm on Friday June 1 at the Anne Arundel
County Fairgrounds with the Tribute to Military and First Responders Night where first responders and military will get in for FREE along with a guest!
The fun continues on Saturday at 11am and will not stop until late at night!
And the kids???? Bring them along to experience Little Leprechaun Land! All kids under
12 are free with a paying adult.
Activities will be under festive tents – striped with points.
Enjoy live entertainment geared for the kids, featuring our own Seamus Kennedy on the Galway stage, pony rides, face painting, Inflatables, games, Gaelic and tin whistle lessons, dance demos and more.
Meet baby owls and other raptors up close and personnel.
Pony rides from noon – 3pm, puppet shows featuring dogs in kilts, the Little Leprechaun Land “obstacle course” presented by My gym of Annapolis and Millersville.

CLAN TENTS
AIF welcomes members of any Irish or Scottish Clans/Societies to set up a “Clan Tent” at the festival. The tents will surround the exhibition area for the pipe competition on Saturday, June 2nd. There is no fee for any Clan/Society to set up a tent.

LIMERICK CONTEST
“There once was a lad from
Annapolis…”
Contestants must submit an original limerick online in any style or format up to 75 words or less on or before May 25th. A panel of esteemed judges will select the winner who will receive 2 VIP tickets for Saturday AND the most distinguished man in a kilt, Seamus Kennedy, will read the winning limerick aloud with the winner on stage. You must be 21 or over to participate. No profanity allowed.

CRUSH BAR
Come visit the new indoor bar! Cool off with a grapefruit or orange crush cocktail in a shaded Irish pub setting. The pub is at the heart of the festival, directly across the hill and main stage music so you won’t miss a beat.
