Ah September! Labor Day is here and it is time for the annual Pops in the Park Concert by the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra!
Every year, the symphony treats thousands of residents to a free concert to kick off their season, and to some...to wind down the summer season a bit.
This year, in association with the Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks, the free concert will take place at Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis. Admission to the park and the concert are free.
Bring a blanket, some chairs, pack the
family (don't forget the well-behaved dog either) and head down to Quiet Waters Park at 530pm on Sunday, September 2nd.
This year's program is a salute to the scores of film. You will hear well loved pieces from films such as Titanic, Chicago and Superman. And composers from Copland to Handel!
Normally, we'd try to get some tickets to giveaway, but the ASO already handled that for us!
