MEET HOME IMPROVEMENT'S VERY OWN AL BORLAND
|
|
|
Richard Karn is most well known for his co-starring role as Al Borland in the 1990s sitcom Home Improvement and his tenure as the host of Family Feud during the 2000s.
In 1989, his wife Tudi convinced him that they should
move to Los Angeles. He found a place for them to live by managing an apartment complex, and catered events at a Jewish synagogue on the side.
After receiving a traffic citation, Karn attended a traffic school and sat beside an agent who told him about casting for the new television show called Home Improvement. In 2002,
Karn replaced Louie Anderson as the fourth host of the game show Family Feud.
Richard will be at the Annapolis Fall Home Expo to meet guests, talk about his experiences on the TV show Home Improvement, his book House Broken, and have fun talking about things you should never do to your home!
And, if your name is Al (or Ally, Ali, Allison, Albert, Alfred, etc) you get in for free! Just show your ID at the door. But if you are named John, or Frank, or Mary--well, just put on your favorite fall flannel and you are in for free as well!
