Reckless Kelly | March 20
The band’s co-founders and frontmen toured the country as part of their father’s band, Muzzie Braun and the Boys, as children. They performed on The Tonight Show twice. Their father taught his four sons a professional ethic – integrity, persistence, hard work and professionalism – honed over three generations
.
In the end, all the recipe required was to just add water. Water facilitates life. It enriches the soul. As Music Row magazine proclaimed, “In my perfect world, this is what country radio would sound like.”
“This” is Reckless Kelly.
Twenty years since its founding, Reckless Kelly continues to fight for wider recognition, secure in the knowledge that fans, critics and contemporaries will continue to sing its praises.

Pressing Strings | March 21
Folky, soulful, bluesy, funky, catchy, smooth, organic. These are all proper adjectives that describe the Maryland based group Pressing Strings. Whether they are playing in a backyard, local brewery, or rocking a festival stage, the melodic quality of the music stands out among the crowd. Robust rhythms guide heartfelt songwriting that is familiar yet fresh and innovative. The three-piece has been steadily creating and
performing for the better half of a decade now. Members Jordan Sokel, Nick Welker, and Brandon Bartlett all grew up with a close bond to their instruments and eventually formed out of the bustling and notoriously musically rich state capital of Annapolis, Maryland.

Big Sam's Funky Nation
April 14
Big Sam’s Funky Nation is a driving force of urban funk. Ryan White, of the Oregonian, says the band is “tight enough (and hot enough) to turn coal into a diamond!” The band is led by trombone powerhouse, Big Sam Williams, formerly the trombonist for the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, who the San Francisco Chronicle
calls “the top man on the slide trombone in the birthplace of jazz.”
Big Sam refuses to let the audience sit still. Between the band’s solos, Big Sam’s signature dance moves and his distinctive trombone riffs, the energy level is high voltage when this band takes the stage!
