Hi
Are you listening to podcasts yet?
It’s easier than ever to find, subscribe and listen to literally thousands of podcasts on every topic from news, arts, business, comedy, education, politics, sports, technology, music, health, spirituality, hobbies, and more.
Podcasts are free (with very few exceptions). Podcasters create content and publish their episodes on popular platforms like iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher and many now on the popular Amazon Echo ...Hey Alexa!
All smartphones today have a built in app for listening. If you haven’t opened this app yet – give it a try and start exploring! I listen to them while I am exercising at the Pip Moyer Rec Center, while driving (bluetooth is wonderful), working in the yard, or just at my desk while working. And the beauty of it is that once you subscribe -- they come right to your electronic device of choice automatically! And then, listen to them
when you get a chance...in whole, or in part. Or even skip an episode that may not interest you. Totally on-demand!
To give you a start, here are a bunch of local podcasts to which I subscribe. Click on the image (or the "Read More" link and go right to their website to learn more, subscribe, listen to a few other episodes, etc.
Disclaimer: the first two are mine...and it is self-serving, but yeah..give then a listen--they're both good--The Maryland Crabs launched in September 2016, and the Daily News Brief launched in September 2017. My dad even said they were great. He can't be wrong...right?
And, when you do check them out--please take the time to rate them. It is usually a one click task, but ratings (good or bad) really help out in any number of ways. If you have a minute--leave a written review as well.
Happy Listening!

THE EYE ON ANNAPOLIS DAILY NEWS BRIEF
|
|
|
The Daily News Brief is a sister podcast to Eye On Annapolis. It is produced every Monday through Friday and releases at 7am so you can catch it before work or on the way in. If you have about ten minutes, the Daily News Brief can bring you the local news, local weather, local sports, local events, and local opinions every Monday through Friday!
A note on the weather. As we all know, Annapolis weather (as opposed to Baltimore weather) is hard to predict. We have partnered with George Young from DMV Weather who is based right here and familiar with the Bay, the winds, and how it all comes together for our unique forecast!
Subscribe--you won't regret it! AND PLEASE...RATE US!
If you have an Amazon Echo, you can add the skill (there is a link below) and then just simply say "Hey Alexa, play the Eye On Annapolis Daily News Brief" and she will play the most recent DNB. You can even add it to your Flash Briefing so you can create a customized new program each day!
And if you own a business--you might want to consider sponsoring a week or more of the podcast. We reach a large local audience that might be perfect for you! Send me an email!

Section 336 is a personality driven Baltimore sports show. No matter what your relationship is to sports you can find a home with Section 336. For the diehard fan you are just like Matt, Bert and Josh. They grew up as huge sports fans, particularly of the Orioles and Ravens.
They can speak about the little details of the game and you will love Section 336. However if all you want to know is enough to be able to keep up with coworkers about basic sports talk, Section 336 is also the show for you. Their personalities and style of the show keep you laughing and entertained while you are learning all that sports geek stuff.
Their listeners have called Section 336 “The Sports Junkies of Baltimore”. Section 336 proclaims themselves to be Baltimore’s best sports talk. However, you don’t have to be a fan of Baltimore to enjoy Section 336. As iTunes reviewers say “ Listening to this show brings back the memories of my childhood..” and “You guys
are hysterical. You definitely help a non-stats guy keep up”. Give Section 336 a chance and you will be a weekly listener.
Josh Sroka (33) and Matt Sroka (29) are brothers they grew up with a dad that took their passion for the Orioles to a level some might say went too far. However Josh and Matt take that passion even further. Bert Rode (33) is a childhood friend who eventually married into the Sroka family. When you listen to the show you
can tell that they have known each other forever. Their passion, and the way they relate to each other will make you believe you too have know these boys your entire life.
